Costa, Cordero, Littleton Head All-Conference List May 28, 2002– Irvine, Calif.
Sophomore outfielder Shane Costa and sophomore pitchers Wes Littleton
and Chad Cordero were the only Titans selected to the 2002 All-Big West
Conference first team selected by the nine head coaches. Teammates Justin
Smyres and Jordan DeJong made the second team.
Eric Verbryke of Cal State Northridge was selected player of the year,
Long Beach State's Abe Alvarez was pitcher of the year and CSUN's Mike
Batesole earned coach of the year honors on the same day he accepted the
head coaching job at Fresno State.
