Housman Rounds Out Titans' 2002 Draft Class
June 5, 2002 – Fullerton, Calif.

Cal State Fullerton lefthander Jeff Housman was selected by Milwaukee in the 33rd of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday afternoon.

Housman, a junior from Visalia, went 0-4 with a 4.89 ERA in 19 appearances this season. He struck out 32 and walked 15 in 35.0 innings. Housman pitched for the College of the Sequoias his freshmen and sophomore seasons.

Housman joins Jordan DeJong (17th round) and Travis Ingle (20th round) as the only Titans selected in this year's draft, marking the lowest number of selections since 1991, when just two Fullerton players were selected.
