Titans Add Two More to List of Baseball Signees
July 22, 2002 – Fullerton, Calif.

Shortstop Neil Walton and infielder Ronnie Prettyman have signed letters of intent to play baseball at Cal State Fullerton next season, the Titan baseball office announced today.

Walton, a 6-5, 180-pound right-handed hitter out of Santa Cruz H.S., was the MVP of his league as a senior. He was selected by San Francisco in the
23rd round of last month's Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

"Neil has big-time potential and could be a legitimate power threat for us," said Cal State Fullerton recruiting coordinator Dave Serrano.

Prettyman, a left-handed hitter, will transfer to the Titans from Cerritos College with three years of eligibility remaining. He prepped at Los Alamitos H.S., where he was also a standout basketball player.

"He has the chance to provided some much-needed pop from the left side of the plate," said Serrano. "We hope he can step in and fill that role."
