Jan. 28, 2002– Fullerton, Calif.

Cal State Fullerton freshman Dustin Miller, a right-handed pitcher out of Diamond Bar, underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow on Friday and is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks.

The surgery, performed by Anaheim Angels team physician Lewis Yokum, was necessitated after bone chips were discovered in Miller's elbow.

Miller is regarded as one of the Titans' top newcomers and was expected to contend for a starting spot in Fullerton's weekend rotation.
