Titan Baseball Signs 14 During Early Period
Nov. 19, 2001 – Fullerton, Calif.

The Cal State Fullerton baseball team received 14 letters of intent during the early signing period last week. The list, which features primarily left-handed hitting position players, includes a pair of players included among Team One Baseball's top-50 prospects.

Titan assistant coach Dave Serrano has developed a reputation as one of the finest recruiters in the nation. Fullerton's 2000-01 incoming recruiting class was tabbed the best in the nation by Collegiate Baseball.

"We've brought in some great classes over the past five years," said Serrano. "And we think this recruiting class could be one of the best ones yet, especially in terms of solidifying some major areas. We're very happy we could get so many power-hitting lefthanders."
