25, when Aaron Rifkin sat out with an ankle injury • Batted .222 (2-for-9)
and had one sacrifice bunt • Had both of his hits, including a double,

LOS ALAMITOS H.S.: Earned a trio of varsity letters as a first baseman
for Coach Rob Wigod at Los Alamitos H.S. • Selected Sunset League MVP
and All-CIF and all-county both his junior and senior seasons • Batted
.444 with three home runs and 32 RBI his senior campaign and hit .398 with
five homers and 38 RBI his junior year • Hit a grand slam and three-run
home run in a single game against Fountain Valley • Also a three-year
letterwinner and first-team all-league linebacker for Los Alamitos’
