3.71 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 60.1 innings during his junior season •

three hits while pitching Cypress to a 4-3 win over University in the first
round of the CIF playoffs • His sophomore season, he was 2-5 with a
4.97 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 31 innings • Pitched a no-hitter (seven
innings) and struck out nine against Century as a sophomore • Was a
scholar-athlete all four years.
