senior season • Posted a 9-5 record with a 3.54 ERA and fanned 105
batters in 89 innings of work • Also batted .448 with two home runs
and 20 RBI • Was his team’s co-MVP with Shaun Boyd (selected 13th
overall in the 2000 draft) • Played in the California All-Star game
• Struck out 15 batters in a semifinal of the Wienerschnitzel Tournament
