EL CAMINO COLLEGE: Played for Coach Nick Van Lue at El Camino College in Torrance, Calif. • Earned second-team All-South Coast Conference recognition • Posted a 3-3 record, five saves and 4.83 ERA in 54 innings • Struck out 36 and walked 16. BAYLOR UNIVERSITY: Saw minimal playing time for Coach Steve Smith at Baylor in 1999 • Had a 37.80 ERA in 1.2 innings of work.
