TITANS ’01: Posted a 2-1 record and 4.15 ERA in 14 appearances • Started two games (April 17 at LMU and May 1 vs. Pepperdine) • Was the losing pitcher in a 16-inning loss at LB State on March 24, despite allowing just one run on five hits in 4.1 innings • Earned his first win vs. Pacific on April 6 in an emergency relief role • Took over for Jon Smith with no outs in the first and allowed one run on six hits in 6.1 innings in the Big West Conference opener • Earned his other win in a start against Pepperdine on May 1 • Was the most efficient of five Titan pitchers at UCLA on May 9, holding the Bruins scoreless on two hits in 3.0 innings • Pitched 3.2 no-hit innings, walking just one, in the Titans’ 11-5 loss to Texas Tech in a regional game on May 27 • Worked a scoreless inning vs. Mississippi State on June 1.
