as second-ranked Cal State Fullerton beat Cal State Northridge, 3-0, in
a Big West Conference game at Matador Field Saturday afternoon.

single to left in the sixth. Sean Martin pitched a scoreless inning before
Chad Cordero came on to notch his third save with two no-hit innings.
The Titans scored all three of their runs in the fourth when David Fischer
opened with a single and Richie Birgos doubled to left. Fischer came in
to score on an error by third baseman Wade Friesen, another run scored
on a balk and Kurt Suzuki drove in the third run on an groundout.
Cal State Northridge freshman Kyle Jean pitched his second consecutive
complete game, but took the loss to fall to 0-5.
