Cal State Fullerton freshman outfielder Danny Dorn (Diamond Bar, Calif.) has been named the Big West Conference Player of the Week for his efforts in the Titans' four games last week.

Dorn batted .529 (9-for-17) with five runs scored and 12 RBI and blasted a double, triple and two home runs as the Titans went 3-1.

Dorn started the week by driving in a career-high eight runs – the most by any Big West player this season – in the Titans' 22-6 win over Loyola Marymount. He went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double and also scored a pair of runs.

After a pair of modest games at Cal State Northridge, Dorn went 3-for-5 with
a triple, homer and four RBI in the finale, a 13-4 Titan win.

Dorn, who has a nine-game hitting streak, was also the co-recipient of the honor on Feb. 10.
