Windsor Named Big West Pitcher of the Week Mar. 24, 2003– Fullerton, Calif.
Cal State Fullerton junior pitcher Jason Windsor (Saratoga, Calif.) has
been named the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Week, the Irvine-based
conference office announced today.
Windsor picked up his fourth win of the season with six scoreless innings
against Cal State Northridge on Friday. He scattered just three singles
(including a bunt single and infield single), walked one and struck out
a career-high eight. Windsor retired the final 12 batters he faced before
giving way to the Titan bullpen in the blowout.
Windsor is 4-1 on the season and leads the Big West with a 1.35 ERA. He
is the fourth Titan pitcher this season to earn conference Pitcher of
the Week accolades.
