Titans Erupt for Nine Late Runs to Win Series
March 14, 2004 -- Fullerton, Calif.

Ronnie Prettyman had four hits and Blake Davis had a go-ahead two-run double Sunday afternoon as Cal State Fullerton rallied for a 10-2 win over Minnesota and a 2-1 edge in their 3-game weekend series.

The Titans (11-12) scored five unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth inning all after the first two hitters were retired. Davis' double erased a 2-1 Minnesota (5-6) lead. Fullerton added four more runs in the seventh.

Vinnie Pestano relieved starter Ryan Schreppel with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the sixth. He got the third out on a ground ball and then pitched two more scoreless innings to get the win. Mike Martinez pitched a scoreless ninth.

Justin Turner had three RBI for the Titans, who play Wednesday afternoon at Pepperdine.
