Windsor Cited as National Player of the Week
June 7, 2004 – Fullerton, Calif.

For the second time in the past three weeks, Cal State Fullerton senior righthander Jason Windsor has been named a national player of the week by Collegiate Baseball.

Windsor was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Fullerton Regional last weekend after pitching 15 innings and picking up a pair of wins in less than 48 hours to help the Titans to the regional championship.

The Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball All-American pitched his seventh consecutive complete game in the opener against Minnesota, allowing just a run on five hits while striking out 11 -one shy of a career high. He came back on one day of rest to throw six shutout innings (allowing just two hits) in the Titans' regional-clinching win over Pepperdine.

Windsor also earned the award after outdueling Long Beach State's Jered Weaver on May 21 to help the Titans clinch the Big West title.
