TITANS ’03:
Emerged from deep on the Titans' depth chart to become one of the most dominant pitchers in the country • Was 11-2 with a 1.98 ERA • Earned third-team All-American honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association • Second-team All-Big West Conference pick • His ERA was tied for third-best by a Titan in a single season, 19th-best in the nation and second in the Big West (he finished second to Jered Weaver by 0.02) • He was also second in opposing batting average (.218) and wins and seventh in strikeouts (75) • Worked out of the bullpen for the first part of the season, but moved into the rotation when Wes Littleton was suspended and Ryan Schreppel underwent knee surgery • Was 3-0 with a 2.19 ERA in the postseason and picked up wins in the opener of each round • Picked up the win with 6.1 innings of two-hit ball in the regional opener vs. San Diego and stymied Arizona State (the nation’s top-hitting team) in the super regional (one run on five hits in seven innings) • Then, he beat LSU in the CWS opener with 5.2 strong innings (one run on four hits) • Came back to start against Stanford on June 19 and pitched 5.2 gutsy innings, though the Titans lost in 10 innings • Found out he would make his first start (vs. USC on Mar. 14) just hours before the game in the wake of Wes Littleton’s suspension • Earned Big West Pitcher of the Week honors after holding Cal State Northridge scoreless on just three hits and eight strikeouts in 6.0 innings on Mar. 21 • Also pitched seven scoreless innings for a win against UC Irvine on May 10 • Out of the bullpen, he was 4-0 with a 0.78 ERA in 23 innings (11 appearances) • At Goodwin Field, he was 8-0 with a 1.65 ERA and .200 batting average against • Opponents hit just .179 (14-for-78) with runners in scoring position

LEIGH H.S.:
Was a three-year varsity player at Leigh H.S. in San Jose, Calif. • Earned first-team all-league honors his junior year and again as a senior, when he posted an 11-1 record and helped Leigh to a Central Coast Section championship.

PERSONAL: Born on July 16, 1982, in San Bernardino, Calif. • Parents are David Windsor and Isla Nostrude • Has an older sister (Danica) and younger one (Sydney) • Majoring in marketing • If he won the lottery, he says he’d “faint, then drive to Sacramento to get my money” • Enjoys riding his ATV • Selected in the 43rd round of the Major League Baseball first-year player draft twice: out of high school by Houston and out out of junior college by Texas • Full name is Jason David Windsor • Favorites…Jason Scmidt (player), Kansas City Royals (team), John Travolta (actor), Stress Management (class).
