Trio of
Titans Capture Invitational Titles Oct. 26, 2004 – Irvine, CA Juniors Alex Decker and Senta Breden and sophomore Rachel Liebing each took first place in individual weapons Sunday at the Southern California Collegiate Fencing Invitational at UC Irvine which was the opener of the 2004-05 intercollegiate fencing season for Cal State Fullerton. Decker bested a field of 108 entries to win men's foil. Breden won the women's foil and Liebing captured women's sabre in contests involving 69 women. Other Titans to place were Patrick Harder, third in men's sabre; Liebing third in women's foil; Brian Fraser, fifth in men's foil; Otra Oliver, fifth in men's epee; and Jennifer Tran, eighth in women's epee. The Titans have a rare home competition Saturday as they host their alumni at 10 a.m. in Room KHS 202. ####
