Titans Fall to Oregon State
FEB. 22, 2002 – Fullerton, CA

Annie Campbell led a sweep of the balance beam for Oregon State and that event proved decisive Friday night as the Beavers defeated Cal State Fullerton in women's gymnastics by a score of 194.400 to 193.950.

OSU's Tanya Ricioli tied for second in the beam with teammates Daylee Ingalls and Elaine Yoder behind Campbell on her way to the all-around championship. Fullerton's Joanna Hughes won both the individual vault and the bars competiton.

The beam was the Beavers' final event and their team score of 48.750 was enough to hold off a Fullerton charge on floor exercise, where they posted the best team score of the night at 49.125 led by Kelly Mathiasen's 9.925. Oregon State also scored well (49.050) on its first event to lead all the way in the meet.
