Seattle Pacific Bests Titans by .05

Pacific avenged a loss the night before to Cal State Fullerton at a tri-meet at the University of Washington by winning another tri-meet tonight at home by a slim 191.775 to 191.725 score. Alaska-Anchorage was a distant third at 186.325.

Freshman Brittany Hoffman won the all-around for the Titans with a score of 38.125. Senior Kelly Mathiasen did not compete on floor exercise but scored 29.125 on three events including a victorious 9.850 on beam and 9.775 on vault.

Beam proved the Titans' undoing as they totaled only 47.175 despite Mathiasen and Kristen Parker (9.825) finishing one-two.

Fullerton next competes in the Western Gymnastics Conference championships at Southern Utah next Saturday.
