Pair of 10s Key Record Titan Night Mar. 14, 2003 Fullerton, Calif.
Junior Latoya Milburn and senior Kelly Mathiasen each posted perfect scores
of 10.0 on the floor exercise Friday night to lead Cal State Fullerton
to a school record score of 195.850 in a home-season-ending womens
gymnastics dual meet victory over Rhode Island, which scored 189.975.
Milburn posted only the third 10 in Fullerton history -- the first in
floor exercise -- as Fullertons fourth competitor on the event.
Mathiasen matched the score two routines later in her final Titan Gym
event. Mathiasen won the all-around with a score of 39.10 despite scoring
only 9.35 after a fall (minus five tenths) on the balance beam.
Fullertons team floor exercise score of 49.650 is a school record
and the bars score of 49.250 ties the school mark.
