Seniors Lead Way to Win in Home Finale

Seniors Latoya Milburn and Sharon Snell placed one-two in the floor exercise in their final home meet Friday night to lead Cal State Fullerton to a triangular women’s gymnastics meet win over Seattle Pacific and UC Davis. The Titans scored 193.950 to 192.175 for SPU and 189.800 for the Aggies.

Milburn scored a 9.875 to win the floor and Snell had a 9.825 to tie with Debra Huss of Seattle Pacific for second. Fullerton’s Erica Ficarotta, who won the all-around competition with a score of 39.025, matched Milburn’s score to win the balance beam and also won the bars at 9.800. Seattle Pacific’s Kari Kelly won the vault at 9.850.
