The Cal State Fullerton women's gymnastics team scored a 194.100 on Friday
night, but finished fourth at the 2004 Western
Gymnastics Conference Championships hosted by Boise State.
The Broncos successfully defended their title, sweeping first place on
all four apparatus. BSU's Carla Chambers was named Gymnast of the Year
while Head Coach Sam Sandmire was named Coach of the Year.
Boise State scored a 196.675 to win the meet, Southern Utah finished second
with a 194.500, and Utah State finished third with a 194.300.
Junior Kristy Parker finished tied for fifth on vault with a 9.80, freshman
Jamie Howe was tied for third on bars with a 9.85, and freshman Brittany
Evans finished tied for third on beam with a 9.85.
