Cal State Fullerton sophomore Erica Ficarrotta finished third in the all-around
and sophomore Brittany Evans finished in a tie for second on the beam
as the Titans finished second in a quadrangluar meet hosted by the University
of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.
The Titans scored a 193.600 to finish behind the host Wildcats, who scored
a 196.375 to win the meet. Texas Woman's University was third with a 192.700
while Ball State finished fourth with a 191.300.
Ficarrotta scored a 38.850 in the all-around to finish just ahead of teammate
Evans, who was fourth with a 38.675. Ficarrotta finished fourth on bars
with a 9.80 while Evans posted the Titans' best individual score on the
night, tying for second on beam with a 9.85.
Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Friday (March 18) as the Titans
travel north to Sacramento State for a dual meet beginning at 7 p.m.
