San Jose State Spartan senior Jennifer Greene scored a 9.90 on the floor,
the highest score of the night, to lead the San Jose State women's gymnastics
team to a 191.575-188.675 victory over Cal State Fullerton Friday evening
at Spartan Gym.
Greene, the school record holder on the floor, won the all-around with
a 38.575. Freshman Michelle Minotti had an impressive first meet, finishing
third in the all-around with a 38.300 and second on the vault with a 9.750
and the bars with a 9.650.
Kelsey Spellacy won the bars for the Spartans with a 9.700. Casey Jay
finished second on the floor with a 9.800.
For the Titans, Brittany Hoffman placed second in the all-around with
a 38.500, and won the vault with a 9.775. Brittany Evans won the beam
with a 9.700.
The Spartans now take to the road with a meet next Friday night at Seattle
Pacific.
