San Jose State Uses Depth to Beat 4-Team Field Mar. 6, 2005 Fullerton, Calif.
San Jose State won only the vault as a team and failed to have an individual
win a single event outright but used its depth Sunday afternoon to capture
a quadrangular women’s gymnastics meet at Cal State Fullerton. The
Spartans scored 193.025 to finish ahead of the host Titans at 192.400,
Bowling Green at 192.250 and SUNY-Cortland at 183.700.
San Jose’s Jennifer Greene did tie with Cal
State Fullerton’s Brittany Hoffman for the all-around title at 38.850
and with Fullerton’s Nicole Lim and Brittany Evans on floor exercise
at 9.850. Hoffman won the vault at 9.750, Bowling Green’s Jessica
Bradley won bars at 9.775 and Fullerton’s Tiffany Schramm won the
beam at 9.825.
