Bruins Edge Titans in Low-Scoring Meet
Feb. 11, 2005 – Fullerton, Calif.


Courtney Walker won the all-around to pace UCLA to a 191.400-189.825 victory Friday night over host Cal State Fullerton in a very low-scoring non-conference women’s gymnastics meet.


The Bruins won two individual events outright and shared a third. Kate Richardson had the best score of the night with a 9.900 to win the balance beam and Lindsey Vanden Eykel won the uneven parallel bars with a 9.750. UCLA’s Lori Winn and Fullerton’s Britany Hoffman shared the vault title at 9.750 while the Titans’ Nicole Lim won the floor exercise at 9.800.


UCLA is now 7-2 on the season while the Titans fell to 1-8.


UCLA’s previous low score this season was 194.275 at Arizona State.
