Anteaters Post 7-0 Shutout of Titans March

The UC Irvine women's tennis team swept all nine matches
on the day to pace the Anteaters to a 7-0 shutout of Cal State Fullerton
in a Big West Conference women's tennis match on Wednesday afternoon in
Irvine.
UCI swept doubles play to take an early 1-0 lead in the match. The Anteaters
outscored the Titans 24-5 in double play. UC Irvine then went to work
in singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets to clinch the
victory.
The Titans fall to 2-6 overall, 0-4 in the Big West while UC Irvine improves
to 6-6 overall and 3-1 against league foes.
Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Saturday (March 8) when the Titans
