Saint Mary's Wins Decisive Set for 4-3 Victory
Mar. 22, 2003 – San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Valerie Verrier defeated Brittany Minna in the third set of the No. 3 singles match and that was the decisive point in Saint Mary’s 4-3 non-conference women’s tennis victory Saturday over Cal State Fullerton. The match was played in San Luis Obispo, where the Titans meet Cal Poly on Sunday morning.

Fullerton won the doubles point and the match was even at 3-3 after the completion of the other five singles matches. Verrier beat Minna 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 to drop the Titans to 4-11 on the season.
