Tennis Wins Second Straight, 5-0, Over
Gonzaga Mar. 11, 2004 – Fullerton, Calif.
The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team claimed its second consecutive
victory, defeating Gonzaga in an abbreviated match on Thursday, 5-0, at
the Titan Tennis Courts.
Fullerton improved to 6-4 overall on the year with the victory.
The duos of Ruya Inapulat and Ioana Sisoe along with teammates Nicole
Arias and Gina Le won at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles, respectively to give the
Titans the 1-0 advantage.
Fullerton then won four of the six singles matches that were played, winning
at Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 6 singles, all in straight sets.
The Titans return to action on Saturday at 11 a.m. as they take on UNC
Charlotte.
