North Texas Edges Titans at Home, 4-3 March 14, 2005 – Fullerton, Calif.
The doubles point had been the savior for the Titans in their
last two victories, but it wasn't meant to be on Monday afternoon as visiting
North Texas edged host Cal State Fullerton, 4-3, at the Titan Tennis Courts.
Ruya Inalpulat, Gina Le, and Mai-Ly Tran all won in singles as the two
teams split, but three close doubles matches sealed it for the Mean Green
as UNT won at No. 1 doubles, 8-6, and No. 3 doubles, 8-5, to earn what
would be the deciding point.
