Furman Beats Titans in San Diego

The Furman women's tennis team upped its season mark to 4-3 on Wednesday, with a 6-1 victory over Cal State Fullerton, dropping the Titans to 1-7.

The Lady Paladins swept through doubles, earning an 8-2 victory at No. 1, an 8-1 win at No. 2 and an 8-6 decision at No. 3. Five of six singles matches also went Furman's way, with the lone Lady Paladin loss recorded at No.1, where Ruya Inapulat defeated Mary Neill Hagood 6-4, 2-6, (10-8).
