Cal State Fullerton's Ioana Sisoe and Ruya Inalpulat had their runs ended
at the ITA West Regionals on Friday as they lost both of their singles
matches to fall out of contention.
Sisoe fell in her first round match to UC Santa Barbara's Marielle Gruenig,
3-6, 6-4, 6-2, and then fell in straight sets to San Diego's Tara Livesay,
6-0, 6-1, in the consolation first round.
Inalpulat also fell in a difficult three-set first round match-up to Arizona
State's Wendy Pilecka, 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4, and then was shut down in straight
sets by Arizona's Maja Makar, 6-0, 6-4, in the consolation round.
