Wins, Titans' Fall to Pacific, 6-1 March 11, 2005 – Fullerton, Calif. Cal State Fullerton's Caroline Freeman earned the Titans' lone point on the day as Fullerton fell to Big West Conference rival Pacific, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at the Titan Courts. The Titans fell to 2-8 overall, 0-4 in the Big West Conference. Freeman defeated the Tigers' Helen Schneider, 7-6, 6-1, at No. 6 singles, but Pacific won the doubles point and won four of the five remaining singles matches in straight sets to clinch the win. The team of Ruya Inalpulat and Gina Le claimed the Titans' lone doubles win, 8-3, at No. 2 doubles, defeating Pacific's Natalia Kostenko and Viktoria Szendrei. Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Saturday (March 12) at 11 a.m. against San Jose State at the Titan Courts on campus.
