Doubles Point Again Proves Difference
for CSF Mar. 12, 2005 Fullerton, Calif.
Winning two of the three doubles matches again provided the decisive point
for Cal State Fullerton Saturday afternoon as the Titans edged San Jose
State, 4-3, in non-conference women's tennis action. The win improved
the Titans' record to 3-8 and the last two wins (4-3 over Hawai'i on March
5) have come in identical fashion.
The No. 1 doubles team of Mai-Ly Tran and Carla Rocha and
the No. 2 team of Gina Le and Ruya Inpulat got the doubles win for Fullerton.
Inpulat at No. 1 singles and Le at No. 2 singles also scored victories
as did No. 6 singles player Caroline Freeman.
Fullerton is right back in action at 2 p.m. Monday on the
Titan Courts vs. North Texas.
