4x100 Relay Team Qualifies for Nationals May 31, 2003 – Stanford, Calif.
The 4x100 relay team of Emmanuel Marshall, David Ortega, Fred Williams
and Aaron Williams finished third Saturday at the NCAA Regional Track
& Field Championships at Stanford and that qualifies them for the
NCAA Championshp finals at Sacramento in two weeks.
Fullerton ran 40.36 to trail only USC (40.05) and
BYU (40.26).
The only other Titan expected to go to nationals is pole vaulter Giovanni
Lanaro. He failed to clear the opening height at Stanford, but he is expected
to get an at-large berth tomorrow based on his 18 foot vault earlier in
the season
