Men Place Fifth in Cal-Nevada Meet Apr. 13, 2003 – San Diego, Calif.
Fred Williams placed second in the 200 and third in the 100, Giovanni
Lanaro was second in the pole vault and the 4x100 relay team took second
to pace Cal State Fullerton to a fifth-place finish in the men's competition
Friday and Saturday at the Cal-Nevada Championships at San Diego State.
The Titan women were ninth with most of their points coming from Mychael
Westervelt (third) in the triple jump and Tosha Thomas (fourth) and Lacey
Welborn (fifth) in the long jump. The women's relay team finished fourth
in the 4x400.
