Baker's Dozen Titans Qualify for Regionals May 20, 2003 – Stanford, CA
Ten men and three women from the Cal State Fullerton track and field team
will compete at the inaugural NCAA Track and Field Regionals next weekend
(May 30-31) at Stanford.
The top five competitors plus a few "at-large" berths to the
NCAA Championships will be at stake at each site. The nationals begin
June 11 in Sacramento. Titans' pole vaulter Giovanni Lanaro already is
assured a berth by virtue of his 18-foot, half-inch vault which puts him
No. 3 in the nation.
