Rain Interrupts Mt. Sac Relays Apr. 19, 2004 Walnut, CA
Rain on Saturday disrupted the annual Mt. Sac Relays but several Titans
did manage to compete.
Giovanni Lanaro competed in the invitational flight
of the pole vault and settled for a tie for 12th place with a height of
17 feet, 5 inches, which was the third best height cleared. Nike's Toby
Stevenson won the event at a height of 18 feet, 6 3/4 inches.
Other Titan competitors:
Marcos Campos 19th in the Open 5,000 meters in 14:52.44 trailed by Jordan
Horn in 34th place at 15:22.58; Lakeysha McClenton 26th in the Open 800
meters in 2:12.69; Daniel Cobian 21st in the Open 10,00 meters in 31:00.30;
Destany Cearley 32nd in the Open 400 hurdles in 1:02.79; and Christine
Ruby 86th in the Open 1,500 meters in 4:41.37.
