Three Victories Each for Titan Men, Women
Apr. 14, 2005– Los Angeles, CA


The Titans won three events in both the men's and women's competition Thursday night at the Golden Eagle Twilight Meet at Cal State Los Angeles, wiich featured Cal State Northridge, Hawai'i, Whittier College and several community colleges as well as host Cal State L.A.

For the CSF women, Destany Cearley won the 400 hurdles in 1:03.88, Lacey Welborn captured the high jump at 5-foot-1 and Dalya Taman won the pole vault at 12-feet. For the men, Jonathon Golden won the high jump at 6-foot-9 3/4, B. J. Vandrovec won the pole vault at 16 feet and Matt Turner won the long jump at 22-foot-10.

The Titans continue a busy weekend with competitors at the Mt. SAC Relays, the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational and the Azusa Heptathlon/Decathlon Meet.
