2000: Contributed perhaps as much as any freshman defensive player in the program’s history • Played in every match and finished fourth on the team with 271 digs (2.56 per game) • Also had 14 aces • Had double figures in digs in 12 matches, including a season-high 19 at Boise State on Oct. 19.

High School: Had an outstanding career at volleyball powerhouse Bishop Montgomery H.S. in Torrance • Helped Bishop Montgomery to CIF titles her junior and senior seasons • The Knights won the state title her junior year and were a finalist her senior season • The two-time all-CIF selection set the Del Rey League record for assists and also set the mark for assists in the state tournament • Honored her senior season with the “Gold and Black Award,” given annually to the Bishop Montgomery player who shows integrity and represents the program with honor and excellence • Has played for South Bay Club Volleyball in Torrance and X-Cel Volleyball Club in Manhattan Beach (under Titan assistant Nestor Rodriguez) • Also played soccer for two years.

Personal: Born on June 28, 1981, in Torrance • Parents are Patrick and Barbara Vignery • Has one brother (Michael, 18) and one sister (Tricia, 10) • Majoring in education and psychology • Chose Fullerton because she liked the coaches, the campus and the other players • Would like to meet Misty May • Her grandfather, “Moon” Mullin, played football at Creighton University from 1938-41 • Is a championship Irish dancer.
