Titans in Wrestling Dec. 14, 2001 – Fullerton, Calif. Jose Sanchez pinned David Rodriguez 4:59 into the 133-pound bout Friday night and those 6 points proved decisive as Menlo College edged Cal State Fullerton, 18-16, in a non-conference wrestling match. Each team won five bouts but the pin by the Oaks offset Fullerton's only major decision, a 13-5 score for Chris Carlino at 165 pounds. The Titans fell behind, 18-3, before winning the final four bouts of the match. Fullerton is winless in six dual meets this year. The Titans compete next weekend at a tournament in Reno, Nevada.
