Titans Win Third Pac-10 Match Over Portland St. Jan. 26, 2003 Fullerton, CA
Heavyweight Tyson Blair pinned Antonio Criado at 1:39 for his first victory
of the season Sunday night to cap off Cal State Fullerton's 33-7 Pac-10
dual match wrestling victory over visiting Portland State. The win improved
Fullerton's overall record to 8-9 and its Pac-10 record to 3-2. The Vikings
fell to 2-10 and 0-6.
Blair, a 204-pound sophomore from Dana Hills High School, was inserted
into the Titans' lineup two weeks ago when Edgar Hernandez became academically
ineligible. He's now 1-3. Fullerton also got a near fall from Juan Mora
at 141 pounds and 184-pounder Rowdy Lundegreen won by forfeit to pace
Fullerton's most lopsided win of the season.
Fullerton competes Saturday at the All-California Collegiate Tournament
