Fresno State Avenges 2002 Loss Jan. 21, 2004 -- Fresno, Calif.
Fresno State won the first five matches of the night Wednesday and
cruised to a 25-9 non-conference wresting victory over visiting Cal State
Fullerton.
The Bulldogs, who were upset in a December meet last season in Southern
California, didn't lose until the Titans' Jesse Miramontes scored a 10-5
decision at 125 pounds over Sal Gonzalez. The other Fullerton wins came
from Juan Mora at 141 and Dustin Vance at 157.
Bulldogs' coach Dennis DeLiddo picked up his 300th career win.
Fullerton, now 3-10 on the season, next wrestles at San Francisco State
and Stanford on Jan. 30.
