Angelo Lago at 157 pounds
and Shawn Reilly at 165 scored pins Sunday afternoon to cap off Cal State
Fullerton's 32-11 non-conference victory at Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University. The win improved the Titans' record to 9-2, furthering their
best ever start, and sent them on with some momentum to Tempe for an evening
match with Arizona State.
The Titans won seven of the matches but were leading only 17-11 with three
bouts to go. However, Lago pinned Joey Valente in 2:03 and Reilly pinned
Matt Howard in 4:08 to secure the win.
