Fullerton won three out of four matches at the Lone Star Duals in Grand
Prairie, Texas. The Titans lost to Wisconsin, 25-9, before bouncing back
to defeat Wartburg, the defending Div. III national champions, 18-17;
Harvard, 29-16; and Brown, 23-17.
Seefeldt beat Wisconsin's No. 8-ranked Ryan Flaherty, 2-1; Wartburg's
No. 1-ranked Akeem Carter, 3-2; and Brown's Leo Sarnik, 15-1, and he pinned
Harvard's Andrew Dane in 3:45. Sanchez lost to Wisconsin's Kelly Flaherty,
10-2, before pinning Nathan Specht of Wartburg in 2:30; Jonathan Butler
of Harvard in 0:33 and Mike Pedro of Brown in 1:03. Every Titan won at
least one match including new heavyweight Chris Chambers, who beat T.
J. Miller of Wartburg, 9-5.
