2001 (Freshman):
Cox was named the team’s Rookie of the Year after starting all 20 matches for the Titans as a freshman • named to the All-Big West First Team after scoring eight goals and seven assists to rank third on the team in scoring with 23 points • had a goal in seven matches • posted six points (2 goals, 2 assists) against San Francisco, which ranks in a tie for seventh on the school’s list for most points in a single match • ranks eighth on the school single-season points list, 10th in single-season goals and tied for second in single-season assists • already ranks 15th on the career points list.

QUARTZ HILL HS
Played four years of varsity soccer under head coach Maury Cauchon • scored 23 goals and notched 23 assists in her senior season • four-time all-league selection for soccer and was twice named the league’s Most Valuable Player • earned All-CIF honors her junior and senior seasons • a three-sport athlete, Cox also played four years of varsity softball as a centerfieler and three years of varsity volleyball as a setter/rightside hitter • two-time all-league honors in softball and first-team all-league honors in volleyball her junior year • also ran the 100m, 200m, 400m in track during her junior year • earned California Scholastic Federation Lifetime honors and earned a 4.0 all four years to be named valedictorian of her graduating class.

PERSONAL
Born on Dec. 20, 1983, in Lancaster, Calif. • parents are Gary and Lynn • her older sister, Jodie, is a pitcher/outfielder for the nationally-ranked Cal State Fullerton softball team • also has a younger sister, Shannon • played club soccer for the AVSC Ambush • an undeclared major at Cal State Fullerton, she hopes to become an elementary school teacher after graduation • chose Cal State Fullerton because of the coach, location, and choice of majors.

DID YOU KNOW???
Cox spent time in the spring of 2002 as a member of the U-19 U.S. National Team Camp.
