Soccer Players
CAL STATE FULLERTON 2001 (Junior): Was a mainstay on Cal State Fullertons record-setting defense which allowed a school record-low 25 goals appeared in all 20 matches for the Titans, making 17 starts one of the more physical players on the team, ranked third on the squad with three yellow cards notched one assist on the year against San Francisco 2000 (Sophomore): Appeared in 19 matches, starting 12 fourth on the team with six points and was fourth on the team with 21 shots scored against Long Beach State and Utah State had assists against Cal Poly and UCSB 1999 (Freshman): Saw action as a true freshman, coming off the bench to play in 18 of the 20 matches scored two goals in back-to-back games at Boise State (Oct. 22) and at Idaho (Oct. 24), the latter in final minute of regulation to forge a 2-2 tie. SOUTH HS Three-year varsity letterwinner at South High in Torrance scored two goals and had 8 assists as a senior also lettered three years on varsity cross country and two in track earned first-team all-league soccer honors in her sophomore and junior seasons also was selected to the All-CIF third team as a junior played club soccer for Long Beach United Sidekicks. PERSONAL Born on Aug. 15, 1981, in Torrance, Calif. parents are Gary and Sandy has one brother, David, and two sisters, Lesa and Lauren undeclared major spent the summer of 2001 with the Pasadena Star Gazers in the Ultimate Soccer League, and helped lead the team to a first-place finish at 6-1.
