2001 (Sophomore):
After missing the first part of the season, Hernandez returned to appear in 18 matches for the Titans, making five starts on the year • notched four assists during the season, two against Stony Brook and one each in wins over Southern Utah and San Francisco • 2000 (Freshman): Appeared in 16 matches (starting nine) as a freshman, scoring two goals and finishing tied for fifth with four points • ninth on the team with 11 shots • scored the second of three goals in the win over Utah State and tallied the Titans’ lone goal against UC Irvine in the season finale.

Four-year varsity letterwinner at Garey High for Coach Trevino • two-time team MVP and three-time all-league selection • team's leading scorer as a junior • was league's rookie of the year as a freshman and forward of the year as a sophomore • member of the California Scholarship Federation and National Honor Society.

Born on Dec. 20, 1981, in Jarretaderas, Nayarit, Mexico • mother is Trinidad Hernandez • has two sisters, Anayackie and Susy • played club soccer for Chino United • international business major • enjoys movies and dancing • credits coaches Darell and Casey O'Brien for helping her improve her skills and compete at a higher level.

DID YOU KNOW???
Hernandez traveled to Beijing, China, to compete for the Mexican Women’s National Team in the World University Games in the summer of 2001.
