2001 (Junior):
One of the most prolific scorers on the team, Mescher made an immediate impact for the Titans after spending her first two years at San Jose State • named to the All-Big West First-Team after leading the squad with 11 goals on the year and finished tied for the top spot with 25 points • also had three assists on the year and led the team with 54 shots • was named Big West Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 12 for her three-goal game against UC Riverside • notched two hat tricks on the year (vs. Southern Utah and at UC Riverside) • Had a goal in seven of the Titans’ 20 matches • also had two game-winners on the season • ranks tied for 11th on the school’s career points list, sixth on the career goals list, tied for fourth on the single-season points list and fifth on the single-season goals list.

SAN JOSE STATE
2000 (Sophomore):
Fifth on the team with 11 points and sixth on the team with 33 shots • had two goals and seven assists on the year • 1999 (Freshman): second-team All-WAC selection • appeared in and started all 20 games • named Offensive MVP after taking 40 shots and leading the team in scoring with 21 points • second on the team in goals (7) and assists (7) • 1998: Redshirted the season.

MISSION VIEJO HS
Three-year varsity soccer letterwinner for coach George Larson at Mission Viejo • earned letters in three different sports: soccer, track, and cross country • named first-team all-league, all-county, and all-region her senior year • also league champ in the 400m • scored 14 goals and 12 assists in her senior season leading to offensive MVP honors • named Most Improved as a junior.

PERSONAL
Born July 6, 1980, in Puyallup, Wash. • parents are Bill and Susan • has a twin sister, Kristyn, who also attends Cal State Fullerton, two younger sisters, Stacey (16) and Julie (16), and a brother, Kevin (22) • lists her hobbies as snowboarding and going to the beach • played club soccer for the WCFC Nemesis • a physical education major who hopes to coach soccer.

DID YOU KNOW???
Mescher put her name in the record books against Southern Utah by scoring the fastest goal in school history, finding the back of the net just 28 seconds into the match in an 8-0 Titan victory.
