SUMMER 2003: One of two American-born players to be invitied to the England Women’s U-19 International Training Camp in Colchester, England • selected to the England U-19 Women’s National Team for the UEFA Women’s U-19 Championships in Leipzig, Germany, helping England to the semifinals • played all 360 minutes of England’s four matches in the tournament • named to the England National Team on August 15, 2003, for matches against Australia and Germany.

2002 (FRESHMAN): Named the Big West Conference 2002 Freshman of the Year and was an NSCAA All-West Region third-team selection after posting a 12-3-1 overall record in net with a 0.96 GAA • also named to the Soccer Buzz Freshman All-America second team, the All-West Region second team, and the West Region All-Freshman team • also named to the All-Big West second team • she made 88 saves (.846 save percentage) and tallied three shutouts • ranked third in the conference in GAA and third in the Big West in saves per match • stopped a career-best 12 shots against No. 6 Portland and matched that effort with a dozen saves against No. 12 Washington to share conference Player of the Week honors • named Most Valuable Player of the UC Irvine NIKE Holiday Invitational after helping the Titans to the team title • named to the Soccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week on Sept. 18.

AYALA HS
Two-year varsity player under head coach Jeff Allen • missed her junior year due to injury • also ran track for two seasons • earned All-Sierra League honors as a senior while helping her team to the league championship and the CIF quarterfinals • named Sierra League MVP as a senior • member of the Olympic Development Program state, regional and national pools from 1998-2002.

Born on October 14, 1984, in Santa Monica, Calif. • parents are Geoff and Kay • chose Cal State Fullerton because “it was a good fit, the people are friendly, and I knew I would be happy” • club team (Southern California Blues) was National Finalists in 2001 along with earning state and regional crowns • club team was also Far West regional champions in 1997 and 1998, state champions in 1997, and state finalists in 1998 • undecided major at Cal State Fullerton, she hopes to be a photographer or work in the film industry after graduation • lists current Titan men’s assistant Bob Ammann as the most influential coach in her career.
